Fancy a new job?
Well looks like these designers do...
Rodart - Craftsman
Wood is commonly known as a heavy household material that gives splinters when handled. However, Rodart uses the wood like pattern in a completely different way...they use it for beautiful draped silky clothes. This creates an unusual but clever, aesthetically pleasing design.
Lanvin -
Looks like Lanvin needs to remove some pest from these horses...
Lanvin has designed dresses that are accessorized with a leather belt inspired by horses bridle. This gives the flowly dresses, structure balancing the drapes.
The insect jewellery I personally find a bit creepy. I don't understand who would wear it? Most of the time when you see an insect or pest you run away from it or even run away screaming if you are like me. Why all off the sudden like them? To try and overcome your fear? Or because it was shown a few weeks ago as a fashion must have on the show Ugly Betty? Either way I still HATE creepy crawlies!

Snake HELP?!
Where ever I turn or look I keep on seeing snake inspired clothes however, can't seem to get enough of them. The alien like patterns, the bight juicy colours and Egyptian feel creates a reptile feeling waiting to unleash inside of me. See the best below:

In memory of Alexander McQueen 1960 – 2010
My favourite McQueen moment:
Autumn / Winter 06
Kate Moss appears as a giant hologram above the catwalk, GHOSTLY!
Spray paints - McQueen get models down and dirty!
Fall 06 Studded, edgy, gothic ...est...dress!
And who can forget his gigantic Monster Inc like shoes?

Are you a WARRIOR?
Every piece in Jean Paul Gaultier collection had been complexly weaved or structured to create a rough warrior look. However, at the same time the neutral colours used on each garment mixed with the weave technique and the paper shape leaves brings a more natural or pure element to the harsh exterior of the warrior style. Creating this unusual but inspiring, edgy and calm appearance.

We have been exposed...
...I am almost blushing! The latest trend designers have decided to take upon them is to literally strip back the complicated and extravagant catwalk trends we all loved last year and go straight back to basics. Instead of all the complicated embellishments and the exaggerated accessories, the designers have focuses on quality and structure to give each item a feeling of cleanness. The fresh, clean feel to the clothes and accessories make them seem like they have been taken out of a fairytale. The see though, exposed Prada heel (in the picture below) reminds me of the sorts of slippers I use to wear, pretend to be Cinderella with her startling glass slippers. One last thing, this new trend means you no longer have to worry if your e.g. top is see through as you would be totally in fashion!
